Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Palmdale, CA is seeking a data science professional to perform exploratory research and develop predictive models using statistics, ML, and visualization tools. You will work with structured and unstructured data, applying algorithms to solve business problems and deliver actionable insights.

The role requires a solid foundation in statistics, experience with SQL/Python, and familiarity with SAP HANA or similar warehouses; a security clearance is preferred or enrollment in CE.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, AI/Data Science/Analytics.
  • Experience with structured and unstructured data for descriptive/diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytical needs.
  • Experience with navigating, developing, and working with SAP HANA or similar data warehouse database.
  • Working level experience in SQL or Python.
  • Active secret security clearance with investigation in the last 5 years or enrollment in CE.
  • Ability to obtain special program access within 3 months of start.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Computer Science, AI/Data Science/Analytics
  • Experience with structured and unstructured data for descriptive/diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytical needs

Desired Skills
  • Extensive knowledge of developing in Tableau - data models, visualizations, maintenance
  • Experience with/in one or more of the operations related business functions such as production opeations, quality, GSC, production operations
  • Masters degree
  • Experience in Aero ERP systems (SAP, Solumina, Apriso, etc.) & PLM systems (Teamcenter)
  • Experience with integration of data products into customer applications
  • Proficiency in JIRA/Confluence
  • Previous experience in applying AI, automations, or other machine learning areas to buisness problems
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $110300.00 - $204900.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
