Job summary

MANTECH seeks a Data Scientist to join the team in Patuxent River, MD. This is a full-time onsite position that will support the Data and AI Practice.

You will develop advanced Dashboard Analytics and real-time capabilities for Navy and Marine Corps Aviation, working in a collaborative environment to solve data challenges and deliver actionable insights for critical missions. Requires U.S. Citizenship with a Secret clearance and ability to travel up to 10% locally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline plus 3+ years as a data scientist, or Associate’s degree with 7+ years, or High School Diploma with 9+ years of data scientist experience.
• 2+ years of experience supporting Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE).
• Proficiency with QLIK and Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets.
• Visualize, interpret, and report data findings.
• Create dynamic data reports.
• Apply knowledge to develop analytics applications to transform raw data into information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software.
• Travel locally up to 10%.
