Job summary

Meta is seeking a Data Scientist in Product Analytics to shape users' experiences across our family of apps, including Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, and Oculus. You will leverage massive data sets and analytical methods to inform product strategy and measure success with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 6 years analytics experience (minimum 4 years with a Ph.D.).
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with SQL, Python, and/or R for data analysis.

• Work with large and complex data sets to solve challenging problems using analytical and statistical approaches.
• Apply quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and data presentation to strategies affecting billions of users and hundreds of millions of businesses.
• Identify and measure success of product efforts through goal setting, forecasting, and monitoring key metrics.
• Define opportunities and levers to improve products and drive roadmaps with insights and recommendations.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to inform and execute product strategy.

4. Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies

Public Compensation:

$177,000/year to $247,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
