Stanford Law School is seeking a Data Scientist for the Regulation, Evaluation, and Governance Lab (RegLab) in a one-year fixed-term role with potential extension. The position is hybrid in Stanford, CA, with a rémunération range between $93,163 and $104,477 per annum.

The candidate will drive ML research, manage large data sets, and collaborate with faculty and researchers to produce reports and insights for policy evaluation.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field and 3 years of related experience.
• Expert knowledge of Python, R, and SQL for data analysis.
• Strong understanding of modern statistical and ML models and evaluation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and results-focused.
• Ability to lead projects and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and committed to the Lab's mission.

Responsabilidades

• Collect, manage and clean datasets.
• Analyze and visualize multivariate relationships in data.
• Develop algorithms and statistical models for research.
• Identify data patterns and determine data collection needs.
• Produce reports and charts for investigators and agencies.
• Collaborate with faculty and research staff on methods.
• Prepare documentation for audits and reporting.
• Contribute to statistics or surveys as needed.
