Job summary

Altamira Technologies Corporation seeks a Data Scientist at Camp Lejeune, NC. The candidate will design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and ML projects using cloud-native platforms and advanced ML techniques.

The role requires a strong math/stats background, programming in Python or R, and experience with SQL, Spark, and data visualization tools. TS/SCI clearance is preferred; SECRET clearance required to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field is required; Master’s preferred.
• Experience applying data science methods to real-world problems.
• Proficiency in Python or R and SQL for data analysis.
• Experience with ML pipelines and cloud-native platforms is expected.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and ML workflows.
• Analyze complex data sets and present results to non-technical audiences.
• Coordinate with Data Engineers to build data environments.
• Develop predictive and prescriptive models including NLP, NLP, and clustering.
• Utilize Spark/Hadoop and visualization tools to communicate insights.
