On-site in Cape Canaveral, FL, with flexible hours and strong collaboration with technical teams. Responsibilities include presenting findings to engineers, developing tools to process and visualize data, and applying ML/AI techniques.

Overall Position Description

The position will chiefly entail handling real world data from sensor systems in order to defining and refining metrics through exploratory data analysis.

Location

On site, Cape Canaveral, FL

Clearance Level required

Must currently hold a TS (Top Secret) level US government security clearance or higher.

Job Requirements

• Must be a US citizen who currently holds a US government security clearance at the TS (Top Secret) level or higher.
• Must hold a Bachelors Degree or higher in an appliable degree (Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Data Science)
• Must have 5 ore more years of professional experience related to data science.
• Must be able to clearly present findings and applicable techniques to other technical staff in various disciplines.
• Must have a desire and ability to create software tools to process and display data.
• Must have familiarity with data analytic, ML, and AI techniques as well as general knowledge of statistics and mathematic principles such as Fourier transform.
• Certificates are a plus but not required.

Skills

• Familiarity with data processing and scientific languages such as MATLAB, R, and python.
• The ability to work in a resource constrained environment. (Can you be productive with limited access to AI tools and other online resources).
• Experience working with sensor data such as motion, vibration, audio, temperature, and radio frequency signals are a plus.
• An understanding for data processing efficiency, how to program within the limits of a computationally constrained system without compromising data quality.
• Ability to read, understand and apply the latest research in the area of data science. Interface well with a team live and online.

Salary And Other Compensation

The hourly rate of pay ranges from $48.08 - $96.15
