Booz Allen Hamilton in the United States is seeking a data scientist to unlock insights from complex data across IoT, ML, and AI applications. You will partner with clients to understand questions to translate data into actionable answers, building algorithms and analytic systems that scale.

As a data scientist, you’re excited at the prospect of unlocking the secrets held by a data set, and you’re fascinated by the possibilities presented by IoT, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. You Have:

• Experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, data science, or data mining

Nice If You Have:

• Experience working with GEOINT, HUMINT, MASINT, OSINT, and SIGINT, and the data and tools associated with these disciplines
• Experience with intelligence or operations analysis in the DoD or Intelligence Community
• Experience working in a Joint Staff environment
• Experience creating ETL pipelines, including querying APIs, cleaning and conditioning data, and creating schemas for data storage
• Knowledge of version control tools, including Git, GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket
• Knowledge of DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins
• Ability to use data visualization tools, including COTS software such as Tableau, Power BI, or ArcGIS, or FOSS libraries such as seaborn, matplotlib, or ggplot

Clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
