Base Pay Range
$173,945.00/yr - $210,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify key metrics and conduct in‑depth analyses to guide business and inform strategy decisions.
- Work with cross‑functional teams (Product, Sales, Marketing, Account Management, Risk) to help upsell and cross‑sell products and improve merchants’ experience.
- Partner with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Account Management to deliver high‑impact analytics.
- Identify and define business challenges and craft strategic analysis plans to uncover necessary insights and solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to develop insights and analytics solutions for internal and external clients.
- Examine diverse data sources and develop statistical models to pinpoint trends and key factors for product development, sales strategies, risk management, and operations.
- Build data visualizations by leveraging existing tools or developing new ones, and provide ongoing enhancements to business dashboards.
- Implement processes and build tools to make data access, extraction, and analysis more efficient.
- Build and grow relationships with internal teams to proactively identify business needs and address them using analytics.
Qualifications
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field plus 4 years (48 months) of experience as a Data Scientist, Decision Analytics Associate, or related occupation.
- Four (4) years of experience using Python to conduct complex analyses, build predictive models with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit‑learn, Scipy, and Statsmodels; predictive modeling techniques including Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, K‑Means clustering, SHAP-based model interpretability; and advanced Excel (VBA, VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, Pivot Tables).
- Two (2) years of experience with supervised learning for Customer Churn prediction using XGBoost, Random Forest, ARIMA, Prophet, LSTM (TensorFlow, Keras, Fbprophet); anomaly detection with Isolation Forest and One‑Class SVM; statistical analysis and hypothesis testing (ANOVA, TURF Analysis); handling banking‑related datasets; financial scenario and risk modeling with Monte Carlo simulations; dashboard creation and automation using Looker, Tableau, Power BI; advanced SQL (CTEs, window functions, stored procedures); data pipelines with cron jobs, shell scripts, Python automation; log parsing with Perl; integration with Java backends via REST APIs; KPI tracking using Python, SQL, BI tools; Jupyter Notebooks for analysis; and streaming deployment with Apache Kafka and Docker.
