Weeghman & Briggs is seeking a motivated and mission‑driven Data Scientist Level 3 to support critical government initiatives in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role is part of a growing team focused on delivering high‑impact analytical services to Government Agencies and private organizations.

What You'll Do

• Support mission‑critical programs in secure government environments
• Analyze requirements and translate them into actionable solutions
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality results

• Contribute ideas to improve processes, efficiency, and performance

What You Bring

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Master’s Degree with 8 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of relevant experience
• Associate’s Degree with 12 years of relevant experience
• Experience supporting government or DoD programs
• Relevant experience in designing/implementing machine learning, data science, advanced analytical algorithms, programming in at least one high‑level language (e.g., Python), statistical analysis, data management, data mining, data modeling, artificial intelligence, and/or software engineering. Experience in more than one area is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in 2 or more of the following skill areas: Relevant certifications (Security+, CISSP, PMP, AWS, etc.), Mathematical, Computational, Statistical foundations, Data processing, Modeling, inference, and prediction.
• Experience supporting the Federal Government
• Agile, cloud, or modernization experience
• Background in process improvement or analytical services

Compensation & Benefits

The projected salary range for this position is $158,000-$165,000, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and contract requirements.
