• Experience in merging and preparing data for analysis
• Proficiency with supervised and unsupervised learning models such as Generalized Linear Models, Generalized Additive Model, Lasso, KNN, Boosting, etc.
• Proficiency in SQL and programming experience in R or Python
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• To qualify, all applicants must be authorized to work in the United States

Overview:

As a member of SageSure’s Homeowners Product Research team housed in Actuarial, Data Scientist Interns will have the opportunity to assist in providing technical and analytical assessments of complex business issues related to the management of the current and future development of insurance products. Our interns will learn and use actuarial techniques in developing pricing plans.

What you’d be doing:
