Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Data Scientist for the Intel Sector Analysis Solutions Business Area (ASBA) in McLean, VA. The role emphasizes building ML models, NLP pipelines, and data-driven insights for security projects, with emphasis on AWS, APIs, and automation.

A TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required, along with extensive Python and SQL experience. Responsibilities include data processing from multiple databases, web scraping, and applying ML to predict scenarios.

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• BS degree with 12–15 years of relevant experience or MS with 10–13 years (Doctorate possible).
• Experience with Python is required.
• SNA experience is required.
• Strong SQL and API/data extraction experience required.
• Experience with supervised/unsupervised learning and NLP (SpaCy, Hugging Face, NLTK, TensorFlow).
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Plotly, Seaborn, Matplotlib).

Responsibilities

• Build statistical and machine learning models and NLP solutions for complex business challenges.
• Create and run complex SQL queries across multiple databases and APIs.
• Perform web scraping and process unstructured data.
• Apply automation and ML to manage data, predict scenarios, and drive data-driven recommendations.
• Learn and leverage AWS and Git technologies.
