Job summary

Jobtailor in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a data scientist / machine learning engineer to build and deploy models for Search and Personalization, analyze user behavior, and collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams. You will develop features and datasets for model training, and run offline experiments to inform product decisions.

You will also support online A/B testing, monitor production model performance, and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, CS, IT or related field plus 2 years in analytics.
• Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, CS, IT or related field.
• 4 years' experience in analytics or related field.
• Experience with machine learning, statistics, and predictive modeling.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Familiarity with ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or XGBoost.
• Understanding of experimentation methodologies and model evaluation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience working with large datasets in cloud environments is preferred.
