Amazon Science is seeking a Data Scientist II to build models predicting customer, seller, brand, and program outcomes. You will work at the intersection of predictive modeling, economic reasoning, and business strategy, collaborating with stakeholders to translate open-ended problems into actionable insights.

The role requires 3+ years of data science experience and strong SQL/Python skills. The team focuses onPOE-impactful decisions supporting growth and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in econometrics, statistics, industrial engineering, operations research, or equivalent quantitative field.
• 3+ years of data scientist experience.
• 3+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab).
