Job summary

Amazon Operations’ Central Learning Solutions (CLS) Science team is hiring a Data Scientist to drive the data science roadmap for CLS Science. You will estimate causal impact of training interventions, tailor interventions to learner profiles, and measure post-launch success through A/B testing and weblabs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics or related area.
• 3+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL) and scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical software experience.
• 3+ years of machine learning/statistical modeling and data analysis techniques.
• 2+ years of data scientist experience in applied settings.

Responsibilities

• Establish scalable, automated processes for large scale data analyses and model deployment.
• Use causal inference to estimate learning curves and content effectiveness for learner profiles.
• Perform statistical analyses, hypothesis testing, and A/B testing.
• Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders to influence strategy.
