Job summary

United Launch Alliance in Denver seeks a qualified Data Analytics/Data Science professional to support the Systems Engineering organization. You will interpret data, build models, and develop visualizations to inform decisions across engineering, manufacturing, launch operations, and business units.

Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of related experience is required; Master’s is preferred. Proficiency in Python, R, or MATLAB is expected; relocation may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Statistics or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Data Analytics/Data Science.
• Strong skills in data models, data mining, data wrangling.
• Proficiency with Python, R or MATLAB for analysis and insights.
• Experience applying machine learning to business or engineering problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Interpret data and analyze results using statistical methods; create reports and documents.
• Design, build, test, and implement models from diverse datasets.
• Develop visualizations to describe investigation and modeling results.
• Communicate results to engineers, leadership, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate across the enterprise to develop tools and methods for analyses.
