Job description

Responsibilities

  • Operate in consultation with POTFF program staff and the Government’s POTFF biostatistician.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in program evaluation, research methodologies, and data analysis.
  • Provide consultation and assistance to supported units and POTFF staff to identify opportunities and methods for capturing data related to POTFF programs and initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and presentations that accurately convey data trends and associated analysis.
  • Access Government systems to enter and analyze data.
Qualifications
  • Master’s or doctoral degree in quantitative science, social science, or related discipline.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Advanced proficiency with commonly used statistical software applications (e.g., SPSS, SAS, and R).
  • Proficiency demonstrated through employment history in academia or similar research-conducting settings, and a history of scientific publications.

Experience
  • At least three years of research experience in an academic, social services, government, healthcare, or laboratory setting.
