Job summary

Parsons in Washington, DC area is seeking a Data Scientist I to join our Federal Solutions team at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. You will analyze data, build basic AI/ML models, and develop clear outputs for stakeholders supporting intelligence and defense missions.

You will assist in data acquisition and cleaning, run routine analyses, and create reports and dashboards. A TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph is required for this role, with opportunities to grow in a collaborative, mission-driven

Qualifications

0–2 years of direct data science experience.
Experience in data science/engineering/analytics, statistics, computer science, or related fields.
Experience in testing and evaluating AI/ML models.
Experience supporting Department or War and/or Intel Community clients.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and collaboration in teams.

Responsibilities

Support Federal Government Intel contracts with data science analytics and model evaluation.
Data acquisition, cleaning, and basic preparation of structured and unstructured data.
Run routine analyses using established statistical methods.
Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders.
Apply standard business analytics and customer segmentation techniques.
Document methods, code, and results for reproducibility.
