LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a highly motivated data scientist to join the Data Science Accelerator Program (DSAP) based in Alpharetta, GA. The two-year program rotates through analytical product development assignments to accelerate learning across the Data Science organization.

The role offers hybrid work located at our Alpharetta headquarters with some travel, the chance to work with senior data scientists on predictive modeling, and exposure to industry-leading analytics tools and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science/analytics, computer science, mathematics or related fields.
• Coursework or project experience in Python or R; familiarity with SQL is a plus.
• Interest in data analysis, predictive modeling and machine learning.
• Exposure to data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn and adapt.
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, clean, and organize large datasets for analysis.
• Merge and parse data to uncover trends and patterns.
• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques under guidance of senior data scientists.
• Document model code, track results, and validate predictive models.
• Create attributes and rules from raw data to support analytic projects.
• Contribute to data visualization efforts to communicate findings.
• Prepare responses to client inquiries regarding data, score calculations and analytics outputs.
• Document work clearly and present results in a team setting.
