We are looking for a talented Data Scientist to join our Central Strategy and Insights team, focusing on Revenue forecasting.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. This role is uniquely positioned at the intersection of data science and financial strategy, with a specific focus on developing and refining forecasting models within our revenue pipeline and hierarchy. We’re looking for a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who can deeply understand the nuances of our rapidly evolving business and its key revenue drivers.

A Typical Day:

• Develop, refine, and maintain forecasting models for the drivers in our revenue hierarchy, ensuring they align with overall financial strategy and business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Product, Engineers, and other Data Scientists, to ensure cohesive strategy and execution.
• Engage in stakeholder management, effectively communicating with various teams and levels within the organization to gather input and share insights.
• Drive the process of extracting actionable insights from complex data sets to influence business growth and strategic decision-making.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data science to continually enhance our forecasting techniques and methodologies.

Your Expertise:

• BA/BS in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, econometrics, or computer science.
• Minimum of 3 years industry experience in data science, preferably with exposure to financial and forecasting models focusing on revenue drivers.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to convey complex data-driven insights to executive and senior management in a clear and concise manner.
• Proficient in statistical modeling and time series analysis.
• Expertise in SQL and relational databases, along with proficiency in programming languages such as R or Python.

Your Location:

This position is US – Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
