Job Description

The position is for a Data Scientist / Data Modeler / AI/ML professional focused on bridging the gap between the Decision Science Ecosystem platform and the data science community through advocacy, education, and tool development. The role involves enabling data scientists to effectively model and operationalize solutions on the DSE platform and integrating with Global Data Assets products.

Required Qualifications

• Perfect Communication
• Foster a developer community around Global Data Assets & Analytics platforms and technologies.
• Participate in and organize hackathons, workshops, and meetups to facilitate interaction and knowledge sharing, aligned with platform vision.
• Build relationships with key influencers, community leaders, and other organizations to extend the platform’s reach and amplify its messages.
• Advocate for over 600 individuals in the data realm.
• Need to read code but will not be developing code.
• Evangelism and Promotion

• Experience as a data scientist, data modeler, or artificial intelligence professional.
• Proficiency in Python or R, with libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and data visualization tools.
• Experience with top cloud platforms: AWS SageMaker (preferred), GCP, Azure.
• Knowledge of MLOps practices and model deployment strategies.

Roles and Responsibilities of Developer Advocates

The Developer Advocate will serve as the bridge between the DSE platform team and the data science community, focusing on enabling data scientists to successfully model and operationalize their solutions on the DSE platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with members of the Data Science community to implement best practices and align with platform vision.
• Develop and contribute tools that simplify platform operations.
• Create educational content and provide technical support.
• Gather developer feedback and advocate for community needs.
• Foster a thriving data science community.
