Job description

We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our Client Platform Data Science team at Discord, where you will play a key role in ensuring the platform runs smoothly and enhances user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive insights through strategic analysis, experimentation, and dashboarding, focusing on improving app performance, reliability, and user engagement. Responsibilities include defining KPIs, building custom datasets, creating actionable dashboards, and championing A/B testing best practices. You will also work closely with data and engineering teams to design scalable tools and instrumentation.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on analytics experience, with a strong background in A/B testing, SQL, and dashboarding (Tableau, Looker, or similar). Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex findings into clear insights are essential. Experience with performance analytics, social or subscription products, ETL processes, and AI in data science is a plus. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000 to $200,000, plus equity and benefits.
