As a Data Scientist Associate Senior within the Asset and Wealth Management team at JPMorgan Chase, you will play a key role as an experienced member of our Data Science Team. You are responsible for addressing business problems through data analysis, developing models, and deploying these models to production environments on AWS or Azure.

Job responsibilities

• Collaborate with all of JPMorgan’s lines of business and functions to deliver software solutions.
• Develop and experiment with high-quality machine learning models, services, and platforms to make a significant technological and business impact.
• Design and implement highly scalable and reliable data processing pipelines, perform analysis, and generate insights to drive and optimize business results.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
• BE/B.Tech, ME/MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a machine learning-related field.
• Solid programming skills in Python.
• Deep knowledge of Data structures, Algorithms, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Information Retrieval, and Statistics.
• Expertise in at least one of the following areas: Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Speech Recognition, Reinforcement Learning, Ranking and Recommendation, or Time Series Analysis.
• Experience using GenAI (OpenAI or other models) to solve business problems.
• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Experience in training, inference, and ML operations on public clouds (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Knowledge of Asset and Wealth Management business is an added advantage.
