Gormat seeks highly skilled data scientists and ML engineers to advance intelligence analytics. You will perform statistics, machine learning, and data curation, transforming features and building responsive detection systems.

Responsabilidades

• Apply statistics and ML to answer intelligence questions and produce actionable results.
• Develop and optimize classifiers, anomaly detection, and automated data processes.
• Collaborate with software developers to productionize validated models.
• Curate data from diverse sources and load into accessible data stores.
• Monitor model performance with Data Scientists and refine analyses as needed.
• Communicate results to decision makers and stakeholders; document processes and models.

Overview

Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications. Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements. May design embedded systems software. Apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform and utilize statistics, machine learning, and analytic approaches to answer key intelligence questions, producing results and reusable products that provide real value to Intelligence Analysts.


• Apply machine learning techniques to identify and transform data features, find hidden patterns and trends, build and optimize classifiers, create automated anomaly detection systems, and automate steps of a process.


• Evaluate statistical models to determine the validity of analyses, implement evaluated models into production by collaborating with software developers, and periodically re-evaluate and refine machine learning models being used in production.


• Curate and collect data from a variety of traditional and non-traditional sources, including extracting data, transforming and integrating it with existing data, and loading it into data stores for access by others.


• Collaborate with Data Scientists to develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.


• Work with analysts to interpret analytic results and refine analysis as needed.


• Effectively communicate results and ideas to key decision makers, analysts, and other stakeholders and provide information as appropriate.


• Document all processes, models, and activities by developing and implementing a configuration management plan for data sets.


• Research the latest data science tradecraft and technology.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring

• Master's degree in a relevant field and 4 years of experience.


• Demonstrated proficiency with R or Python and SQL to manipulate data and draw insights from large and small data sets.


• Exposure to AWS (Amazon Web Services), Cisco (CCNA), and/or STIGs/IAVA and Big Data Platform (BDP).


• Strong background and skills in Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL), Windows, and virtual environments.


• A problem solver who can take on a project and use engineering skills to determine a solution.


• Experience with Python, Jupyter Notebooks, and network analysis tools.

TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
