Job summary

Amazon Advertising LLC in New York is seeking a Data Scientist for the Marketing Decision Science team. You will build ML models to segment advertisers, run causal experiments, and collaborate with engineers to scale solutions that guide advertising decisions.

You will work with data at scale, apply modern ML techniques, and leverage GenAI to enhance marketing products, all while driving measurable business impact for advertisers on Amazon’s platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data querying languages (SQL) and scripting (Python) experience.
• 2+ years of data scientist experience.
• Bachelor's degree and applied modeling experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute data science solutions end-to-end from framing to deployment.
• Build ML models for advertiser segmentation and recommendations.
• Apply causal inference and experiments to measure marketing impact.
• Analyze large-scale advertiser data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers for rapid prototyping at scale.
• Establish data hygiene practices feeding production ML/AI.
• Leverage GenAI and LLMs to enhance products where applicable.
