Job Description

We are seeking a Data Scientist to perform Big Data Platform management, develop prototype algorithms, and support data visualization and analytics.

You will work with a team of data scientists and other cybersecurity specialists to protect national security.

Responsibilities

• Manage Big Data platform and related components.
• Develop and refine machine learning, data science, and advanced analytical algorithms.
• Support data visualization and analytics.
• Program in languages appropriate to tasks.
• Design and implement workflows with reproducibility, data management, curation, modeling, and assessment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR Associate's degree plus 5 years of experience for individuals with in-depth relevant experience.
• Degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research, or Computer Science, or a related field with substantial computational component.
• Relevant experience in designing/implementing machine learning, data science, advanced analytical algorithms, programming, data mining, advanced statistical analysis, advanced mathematics, artificial intelligence, workflow and reproducibility, data management and curation, data modeling and assessment, and/or software engineering. Experience in more than five areas is strongly preferred.

Security Clearance

Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.

Compensation

Pay range is Competitive (subject to factors including role, experience, and competencies).
