J5 Consulting is seeking a Data Scientist to support mission-critical intelligence initiatives by analyzing large-scale data, developing data models, and performing advanced analytics in clustered computing environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with ECL, HPCC, Python, C, and SQL to produce analytic products for the Intelligence Community.

This role requires US Citizenship and an active Top Secret Security Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.

Introduction

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to support mission-critical intelligence initiatives by analyzing large-scale structured and unstructured data, developing data models, and performing advanced analytics in clustered computing environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with ECL, HPCC, Python, C, and SQL, and will leverage these technologies to produce mission-relevant analytic products that support customer objectives in a fast-paced Intelligence Community environment.

Required Skills and Demonstrated Experience

• Demonstrated experience with ECL and HPCC (5 years minimum in ECL)
• Demonstrated experience using analytic techniques and tools performing technical targeting analytic support for this Sponsor across a spectrum of mission spaces to include applying analytic judgement to data presented
• Demonstrated experience manipulating high-volume structured and unstructured data to perform analysis and generate sound mission relevant analytic reporting/products
• Demonstrated experience using computer languages (e.g., Python, C, SQL) to perform large scale parallel processing of the sponsors data. These languages complement ECL
• Demonstrated experience performing large scale parallel processing of data, and developing, validating, and using methodologies to support analytic requirements in Clustered Computing environments
• Demonstrated experience with data modeling

Highly Desired Skills and Demonstrated Experience

• Educational or practical experience in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) field

US Citizenship

• This position requires US Citizenship. Verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements will be confirmed

Security Clearance

• The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
• Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment

Travel

• This position is expected to be onsite. The position will be located within the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA). Local travel/POV will be on an as needed basis, within the local place of performance
