Overview

They are looking for a Data Scientist to join their Platform Team and lead the development of advanced analytics and predictive modeling in the sports and entertainment venue space. As an early hire on this team, it will allow you to design and implement machine learning models that will use real time data and make an impact from Day One.

This role will require you to have experience in Sports and Entertainment, or experience with ticketing platforms. Alternatively, if you have been an early hire in a Start-Up environment, they will look at that experience as well. If you do not have this required experience, I will not be able to move forward with your application.

Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive models for fan behaviour including attendance prediction, purchasing patterns, and personalization using advanced ML techniques
• Build real-time scoring engines for pricing and targeted marketing
• Design frameworks, including A/B testing and casual inference
• Lead statistical analysis and create reports

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in a STEM related field
• 3+ years experience in building and deploying Machine Learning models into a production environment
• Experience in using Real Time Data
• Experience with Azure and Databricks
• Knowledge of MLOps (MLflow and Kubeflow)
• Tools: PyTorch, PySpark, Tensorflow, Timer Series
