RedStream Technology is recruiting a Data Scientist to work with our client with a focus on building AI and large language models (LLMs), working with tools like OpenAI and ChatGPT, and applying natural language processing (NLP) techniques to improve internal knowledge management systems.

Overview

Data Scientist role focused on building AI/LLMs and applying NLP techniques to enhance internal knowledge management. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build AI and large language models (LLMs) and apply NLP techniques to improve internal knowledge management systems.
• Work with tools like OpenAI and ChatGPT to deploy AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in AI or Machine Learning
• Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of NLP, Transformers, LLMs, and Generative AI
• Experience with OpenAI’s GPT suite, including prior experience with their multimodal LLMs: GPT-4V, GPT-4o
• Theoretical understanding of how LLMs can be leveraged to build classification models, re-rankers, and recommendation systems
• Strong programming skills: building end-to-end data models and pipelines in Python following best engineering practices
• Experience managing a Git repository with organized and clean branching strategies
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple product teams and profiles — data scientists, software engineers, tech leads, product managers, designers
• Strong problem-solving skills to work collaboratively toward outcomes

Nice to have

• Experience with conversational agents
• Understanding of Semantic Search, especially with Transformers, and familiarity with Python libraries (e.g., SentenceTransformers, BERT)
• Experience with product development and working in software engineering / Agile teams

Education

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
