Job summary

Stefanini Group in New York City is seeking a Data Scientist to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data to support business decisions. You will focus on reporting, dashboard development, and automation to deliver actionable insights.

You will build Power BI models, leverage Excel, and translate business requirements into analytical solutions, presenting findings clearly to stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, including dashboard creation, data modeling, Power Query, and DAX.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, conditional formulas, charts, and data validation.
  • Experience developing recurring and ad hoc reports for business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to automate repetitive reporting and data-processing tasks.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and meaningful insights.
  • Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Collaborate with business, technology, and operations teams to support data-driven initiatives.
  • Document reporting processes, dashboard definitions, and automation procedures.

Position Summary

  • Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
