Job summary

Bespoke Technologies, Inc. seeks an experienced NLP/ML specialist with active Poly clearance to work on advanced text analytics, classification, and topic modeling using Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and HuggingFace Transformers. You will preprocess data, select libraries, evaluate models, and communicate findings to leadership.

The role requires strong SQL skills and experience with cloud and Linux environments, Git/Jenkins for CI, and familiarity with enterprise Java stacks as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience performing NLP tasks, selecting Python libraries, and preprocessing for analysis.
• Using Python NLP packages (Spacy, Gensim, NLTK) to process document collections.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras).
• Familiarity with HuggingFace Transformers for modeling and deployment.
• Ability to develop text classification and topic modeling models in Python (scikit-learn or deep learning).
• Experience with encoder-decoder and generative language models for NLP tasks.
• Ability to explain methodological choices and model results clearly.
• SQL experience including CTEs, sets, aggregates, and nested queries.
• Version control with Github, Jenkins; GPU-accelerated computing experience.
• Experience with Oracle, Tomcat, AWS, Linux; familiarity with Spring frameworks.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrates professional or academic experience performing NLP tasks, including selecting the best Python libraries for a given task, choosing appropriate pre-processing actions, performing analysis, and assessing model performance.
• Demonstrates professional or academic experience using Python NLP packages such as Spacy, Gensim, or NLTK to analyze or process collections of documents.
• Demonstrates professional or academic experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, or Keras
• Demonstrates professional or academic experience with the HuggingFace Transformers library and hub.
• Demonstrates experience creating machine learning models that conduct text classification and topic modeling in Python using standard machine learning (Scikit-learn) or deep learning models.
• Demonstrates academic or professional experience using encoder-decoder and generative language models to perform NLP tasks.
• Demonstrates academic or professional experience communicating methodological choices and model results.
• Demonstrates professional or academic experience and proficiency with SQL to include using common table expressions, set operations, aggregated functions and nested subqueries.
• Demonstrates professional or academic experience with version control systems such as Github and Jenkins.
• Demonstrates experience leveraging GPUs for accelerated computing.
• Develop practical approaches for measuring performance.
• Assist in developing types of measure, the collection of data, analyzing the data, and presenting that data to senior leadership.
• Conduct advanced statistical analysis on personnel, intelligence, and performance metrics.
• Assist in selection or development of appropriate methodology to conduct research.
• Analyze information and provide research findings in a manner that is easily grasped by the customer and consumers.
• Database management experience: Writing and optimizing queries across relational and non-relational databases.
• Demonstrates experience using testing libraries like JUnit and Mockito to ensure application stability.
• Demonstrates experience with Core Java: Object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, multithreading, and memory management (JVM).
• Demonstrates experience with Spring and Spring Data JPA.
• Demonstrates experience with tools and build systems such as: Eclipse, Maven, and Gradle.
• Demonstrates experience with Oracle, Apache Tomcat, AWS Cloud Framework and Linux.

Desired Skills:

• Demonstrates experience writing Python scripts that pull data from web-based APIs and relational databases.
