Location: Stennis Space Center, Mississippi — 5 days onsite

Near the Louisiana/Mississippi border

Employment: Full-Time

US Citizen required — must be eligible for a Secret clearance; candidates with existing TS/SCI are welcome

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Scientist to support data-driven solutions within a Global Defense/Maritime environment. The role will involve analyzing complex structured and unstructured data, developing predictive models, and applying machine learning and data visualization techniques to support mission-critical decisions.

• 5+ years of experience in data exploration, cleaning, analysis, visualization, or data mining
• 5+ years of experience with statistical/general-purpose programming for data analysis
• Strong experience with Python, R, SQL, SAS, or MATLAB
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data
• Experience developing predictive models, quantitative analyses, and data visualizations
• Experience with big data/distributed ecosystems such as Spark, Databricks, Elasticsearch, or NiFi
• Knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or NLP
