Leidos is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join a multidisciplinary team of mission-focused analysts and reporters. You will apply machine learning and advanced analytics to sparse, noisy, and adversarial datasets to support predictive intelligence and deliver operational impact.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, AI/ML, Data Science, Operations Research, or related technical field with 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Python and C/C++ (or similar languages).
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine learning models to extract insights from large, complex intelligence datasets.
• Translate analytic questions into technical requirements and data-driven solutions.
• Characterize and assess datasets in varying states of structure and quality.
• Provide informed recommendations on technical approaches based on evolving intelligence capabilities and constraints.
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and support automated analytics workflow development.
