Leidos is seeking a highly skilled data analytics professional to assemble large datasets, build statistical models, and develop scalable data pipelines. The role involves extracting from diverse sources, testing hypotheses, and reporting insights through dashboards to support decision making.

Assemble large, complex sets of data to meet functional and other requirements Build statistical models, test hypotheses, interpret, summarize, visualize, and succinctly report on data findings Build requisite infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various sources Perform research on various data sources, to include unstructured data using quantitative and qualitative content analytics Construct and perform complex database search queries in multiple databases using SQL and API interfaces Perform web scraping and apply various techniques for processing unstructured data Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements Optimize data delivery, and automate manual processes Curate and maintain data stored in support of metrics and evaluation Design, build, test, maintain, and automate data collection/pipelines Develop Dashboards for Data Analytics Leverage available resources to normalize and manage data, predict scenarios and make recommendations Contribute to building new analytical tools and packages across the enterprise Contribute to the design and evolution of the client’s enterprise data architecture, ensuring interoperability, security, and alignment with business goals Collaborate with team members in a highly technical environment Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive data integration initiatives and foster a data-driven culture Analyze current data structure, tagging, and quality standards to discover and address anomalies Analyze current practices to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and contract requirements Learn and leverage emerging technologies as they become available/accepted within the customer environment Brief and interact with personnel at all levels of experience, including Senior Officials
US Citizenzhip Active TS/SCI and eligible to obtain a TS/SCI w/poly clearance Bachelor of Science Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other relevant technical program, with 8+ years of experience. Additional years of experience in lieu of degree are acceptable. Skilled in data extraction and analysis from COTS products Experience with data manipulation, analysis, analytic/business insight tools, and data visualization Experience constructing and performing complex database search queries Experience establishing/developing data pipelines and normalizing data Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Access for design, development and exploitation of datasets and databases Proficiency with programming (e.g. Python, R) and machine learning toolkits Advanced problem-solving skills for unstructured datasets Capable of presenting technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences Strong organizational, time management, and omnidirectional communication abilities Technical writing and critical reading Experience producing executive-level products Ability to work efficiently on small, distributed teams
Familiarity with non-linear workflows Familiarity with TTP development process Knowledge of computer science concepts, data architecture, and statistics Experience/familiarity with frequentist statistics and probability including predicative modeling Experience with Tableau #NSBA
Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00
