Job summary

Talentify seeks a senior Data Scientist for our Dallas, TX location. You will develop ML-driven analytics to improve recommendations and operational decisions, blending predictive and prescriptive approaches with historical data analysis.

Ideal candidates bring 9+ years in applied ML, strong Python/SQL skills, and experience in data exploration, visualization, and time series forecasting within logistics, manufacturing, or related operations-heavy domains.

Qualifications

• Senior-level Data Scientist or Applied ML Engineer with 9+ years of experience.
• Experience developing predictive and prescriptive analytics to improve operational decisions.
• Background in airlines, transportation, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or industrial analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop ML/DS solutions to improve recommendations and decision making.
• Access historical data, query efficiently, summarize history and derive insights.
• Move from descriptive to prescriptive analytics to inform decisions.

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Data Scientist for their Dallas, TX location.

Responsibilities:

• Works on OR tupe of tools, they will be adding ML and data science within tool to improve suggestions / recommendations and decision making.
• Predictive analytics, ML, DS,
• Access historical data, query efficiently, summarize history, and come up with insights (descriptive analysis) and then move to prescriptive to inform decision making
• Don't just fulfill right now needs, consider future while making recommendations for today

Requirements:

• Experience: 8–12+ years (9+ years preferred).
• Role Background: Senior Data Scientist or Applied ML Engineer with experience developing predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions that improve operational decision-making.
• Domain Background: Airlines, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Industrial Analytics, or other operations-intensive industries.
