Job summary

Perfict Global is seeking a data scientist in California to support analytics across client projects. You will develop data sets, write SQL, and build client-facing reports using Power BI.

The role emphasizes ML model building, statistical analysis, and data architectures to deliver actionable insights. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree with 3+ years of related experience, are proficient in Python, SQL, and Azure Databricks, and have healthcare domain exposure.

Qualifications

• Masters degree with 3+ years of related experience.
• Recent experience using Python for data manipulation and insights.
• Experience building data architectures.
• Experience building statistical models.
• Experience with Power BI for data visualization.
• Knowledge of ML techniques and real-world advantages/drawbacks.
• Advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, distributions, tests).
• Data mining techniques: GLM, Random Forest, Boosting, text mining, etc.
• Expert SQL skills.
• Experience with Azure and Databricks.
• Healthcare domain knowledge.

• Support data-Science and other analytics as needed.
• Develop SQL queries and data sets
• Develop business and client facing reports

Required Skills

• Masters degree + 3 years of related experience
• Recent experience with Python to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
• Experience creating data architectures
• Building statistical models
• Visualization experience with Power BI
• Variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, etc.) and understanding of their real-world advantages drawbacks.
• Advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.)
• Statistical and data mining techniques: GLM Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, social network analysis, etc.
