Job summary

InterEx Group in Austin, TX is seeking a Data Scientist to develop and deploy machine learning solutions that optimize manufacturing and supply chain operations, delivering predictive analytics and AI-powered automation.

You will build classification models using Random Forest, KNN, and Decision Trees, work through the ML lifecycle, and apply Databricks and Copilot Studio to drive AI initiatives in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Data Science or ML experience.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Scikit-Learn, and Optuna.
• Experience with Databricks and Copilot Studio development and governance.

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)

Contract: 6-12 Month SOW-to-Hire

We're looking for a Data Scientist to join a leading manufacturing organization, developing machine learning solutions that drive supply chain optimization, predictive analytics, and AI-powered automation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and deploy machine learning models supporting manufacturing and supply chain initiatives.
• Build classification models using Random Forest, KNN, and Decision Trees.
• Support the full ML lifecycle, including deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
• Develop AI/ML solutions in Databricks and leverage Microsoft Copilot Studio for AI-driven automation.

What We’re Looking For

• 3-5 years of Data Science or Machine Learning experience.
• Strong experience with Python, SQL, Scikit-Learn, and Optuna.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio development and agent governance.
• Experience with Databricks, ML Ops, and Unity Catalog.
• Background in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing is highly preferred.
