Applied Information Sciences, Inc. seeks a Senior Data Scientist for an AI Engineering contract onsite in Alexandria, VA.

You will support client needs and contribute to end-to-end AI model development, from ideation to production, leveraging Python data science tools. Ideal candidates have a minimum of 5 years in data science, hands-on experience with TensorFlow, scikit-learn, pandas, and deployment of ML models, plus a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
5+ years of experience in data science.
Hands-on Python and data science stack experience (TensorFlow, scikit-learn, pandas).
Experience with database systems.
Secret clearance required.
Experience deploying ML models.

Project Summary

Key Responsibilities

The Data Scientist will help develop and deploy AI models from ideation to production.

Required For This Opportunity

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
At least 5+ years of experience in Data Science.
Must have hands-on experience with Python, Python DS Tech Stack (tensorflow, scikit-learn, pandas, etc.)
Must have experience with database systems.
Must have a Secret clearance
Must have experience deploying Machine Learning (ML) models.

Nice to Have Skills

A certification in Data Science, AI, or another related certification is preferred, but not required.

The targeted base salary range for this role is $116,000-$174,000 per year.
