Job summary

The Cigna Group seeks a Data Science Senior Advisor to lead complex analytics initiatives supporting the Pharmacy and Clinical Outcomes Research team. You will partner with clinical, pharmacy, and business stakeholders to evaluate programs, identify opportunities, and generate actionable insights that inform business strategy and improve affordability, health outcomes, and total cost of care.

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, clinical outcomes research, pharmacy analytics, data science, or a related field.
• Strong experience working with healthcare claims data, including medical and pharmacy claims, and translating analyses into business-focused recommendations.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with analytics tools such as Databricks, Python, R, or similar technologies.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex analytical projects and influencing stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
• Experience with study design, program evaluation, causal inference methods, and/or health outcomes research.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience mentoring analysts and contributing to technical best practices preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Epidemiology, Economics, Public Health, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field required; advanced degree preferred.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 131,200 - 218,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
