Job summary

The University of Oregon's Department of Data Science seeks qualified candidates for Pro Tem Instructor positions. Depending on needs, instructors may teach lower or upper division Data Science courses, including Foundations of Data Science.

Positions are limited-duration appointments, potentially renewable for up to three years, based on programmatic need, funding, and performance. Screening will occur as positions become available and continue until filled.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or other relevant field.
• One (1) year post-secondary instructional experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach lower or upper division undergraduate Data Science courses, including Foundations of Data Science.
