Job summary

Highmark Health offers the Summer 2027 Predictive Modeling & Data Science Graduate Internship for graduate students to gain hands-on experience in analytics, modeling, and storytelling with data. You will work with data scientists and business partners to design, develop, and evaluate solutions that inform business decisions.

Participants will develop predictive models, analyze complex datasets, and visualize results to support data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field; pursuing graduate degree part-time or full-time.
Experience with predictive modeling, machine learning, statistical analysis, or advanced analytics.
Experience with data preparation, visualization, and presenting analytical findings.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders in planning assignments.
Under supervision, provide professional services aligned with day-to-day objectives.
Participate in projects to develop professional skills relevant to the organization.
Assist in planning and implementation of unit initiatives within area of expertise.
Conduct research and reporting with recommendations or alternatives for action.
Engage in related studies or enrichment programs as appropriate.
