Job summary

HTU is seeking a Master’s degree graduate for a role designing and developing scalable Data Science algorithms in the United States. You will collaborate with Data and Software Engineering teams to productionize algorithms and perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model building on large datasets.

You will also provide technical coaching and mentorship to develop others and grow expertise in multiple Data Science techniques and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or similar quantitative field.
• Proven leadership applying and scaling analytic techniques to deliver measurable insights.
• Strong written and verbal communication to influence action.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities effectively.
• Can-do attitude with strong problem-solving skills across diverse business scenarios.
• Passion and curiosity about the intersection of business and technology.
• Experience with analytical tools and Big Data ecosystems such as Hadoop, Spark, SQL, Hive; languages like Python, R, C++, Java, Scala; DL frameworks (Keras, TensorFlow); BI tools (Tableau, KNIME).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to influence action.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities effectively.
• Comfort working with diverse business scenarios and strong problem-solving skills with a "can-do" attitude.
• Passion and curiosity about the intersection of business and technology.
• Preferred experience with analytical tools and applications including Unix/Linux; Big Data Ecosystem (Hadoop, Spark, MapReduce, SQL, Hive); Scientific Computing (R, Python, C++, Java, Scala); High-Performance Parallel and Distributed Computing; Deep Learning frameworks (Keras, Tensorflow); Data Visualization; Data Management Systems; and Business Intelligence tools such as KNIME and Tableau.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $85,000 to $115,000 per year.
• Total rewards include salary, bonus (if applicable), and benefits.
