Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop teams of Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, Researchers, and AI specialists.
• Define and execute data science strategies aligned with product and business objectives.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, experimentation, and continuous learning.
• Influence AI, product, and technology strategy across the organization.
• Drive development of AI-powered capabilities across:
• Generative AI
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• Semantic Search
• Recommendation Systems
• Knowledge Graphs and Knowledge Systems
• Ensure AI solutions are scalable, explainable, measurable, and trustworthy.
• Establish best practices for experimentation, model evaluation, and responsible AI.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, UX, Analytics, Research, and domain experts.
• Translate complex scientific, customer, and business challenges into scalable AI solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and executive stakeholders.

Operational Excellence

• Define success metrics and evaluation frameworks for AI products.
• Guide teams through the full lifecycle of AI product development, from concept to production deployment.
• Drive measurable business and customer outcomes through data-driven decision making.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, NLP, Information Retrieval, or related technical teams.
• Proven success building and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong expertise in:

• Experimentation and Model Evaluation
• Experience delivering AI-powered products from concept through production.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
