Job summary

ALSAC/St.Jude offers a summer internship focused on data-driven projects, analytics, and storytelling to influence decision makers. Interns gain real-world experience partnering with ITS, Legal, InfoSec, Marketing and business partners while contributing to meaningful client-focused outcomes.

The program supports 20 hours/week with a flexible structure, allowing work onsite at the Memphis headquarters or remote participation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Comfort with Zoom and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Able to work in a team environment and independently.
• Organized, detail oriented, and able to balance multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Support data-related projects by identifying user needs, collecting data, performing data analysis, visualizing insights, and delivering findings to customers using storytelling skills.
• Ensure documentation is in the enterprise data catalog as appropriate.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements related to data analysis and research.
• Engage cross-functional stakeholders to understand user requirements and ensure data accuracy and availability.
• Perform data cleaning and wrangling for analysis and analytics modeling.
