Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related quantitative field with expected graduation between Dec 2027 and May 2029.
• Basic familiarity with Python, R, or Java for data manipulation and analysis.
• Coursework or exposure to statistical methods such as hypothesis testing, regression analysis, or probability theory.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into insights.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data for analysis.
• Support data scientists in identifying trends relevant to product, pricing, and performance.
• Help develop and test basic statistical models and algorithms under guidance.
• Prepare exhibits, summaries, and visualizations communicating findings to stakeholders.
• Participate in discussions with stakeholders to understand goals and data-driven approaches.
• Support monitoring of product performance metrics for Jewelers Mutual's book of business.
• Document data sources, assumptions, and methodology for reproducibility.
• Complete additional analytical projects as assigned by Product/Analytics team.
