Job summary

The goal is to achieve functional and demonstrable progress that can be integrated into the team portfolio. Projects may include anomaly detection with deep neural networks, numerical optimization for manufacturing, and PII/PHI detection in natural language.

Qualifications

• Frame business problems as data science problems.
• Navigate the full data science lifecycle: research and exploration, development, deployment, support.
• Use correct model selection and training procedures to prevent common modeling errors.
• Create reasonable test scenarios and diagnostic measures.

Responsibilities

• Write high quality Python (readable, reusable, modular, and well-abstracted code).
• Work with Linux, the terminal, and other core development tools.
• Understand source control (git), containerization (docker) and deployment technologies (cicd/k8s).
• Participate in code reviews.
