Job summary

Wurl, LLC is seeking a high-potential data science intern in the United States to help perform analysis to identify anomalies and their root causes, and propose validations to detect such conditions.

The role emphasizes data normalization, implementing normalization methods, verifying accuracy, and iterating until results are reliable. You will help increase the accuracy of derived datasets and data products while gaining mentorship from senior engineers in a fast-paced ad tech environment.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in Data Science, AI/ML, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science preferred; high-performing BSc considered.
• Strong technical skills: Python, SQL, machine learning, statistics, data analysis, and familiarity with distributed data platforms like Snowflake/Databricks.
• Ability to recognize when results look wrong, comfort with messy data, and strong analytical problem-solving and debugging skills.
