Job summary

FORVIA invites a year-round Data Science Intern to join our Auburn Hills, Michigan headquarters. You will assist in designing and testing machine learning models for computer vision, maintenance, and anomaly detection, while supporting end-to-end ML workflows using Python and popular frameworks.

You will collaborate with engineers and business teams, contribute to AI initiatives, and document experiments for reproducibility in a dynamic, sustainability-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program.
• Data analysis and Excel skills are a plus.
• Majors in computer science, data analysis, or related field.
• Graduation of 2027 or later.
• Minimum 2.8 GPA.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, building, and testing ML models for computer vision, predictive maintenance, and anomaly detection.
• Support end-to-end ML workflows: data preprocessing, feature engineering, model evaluation.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and business teams to solve practical AI problems.
