Job summary

BNY is offering a 10-week Summer Internship in Engineering (Data Science) designed to expose high-potential undergraduates to real-world data-driven problems and collaborative agile projects. You will apply analytics, profiling, and feature engineering to drive actionable insights and practical recommendations across engineering and business teams.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a 4-year degree with a focus on business or technology, set to graduate in 2027/2028, and maintain a 3.0+ GPA.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred.
• Graduating in Dec 2027 or May 2028 (U.S.).
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
• Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying.

Responsibilities

• Apply data science and analytical methods to solve real business and engineering problems.
• Analyze data, perform profiling and feature engineering, and identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
• Build and automate analytical processes, models, and tools that improve decision-making and efficiency.
• Partner with teams across engineering and the business to turn data insights into practical recommendations.
