Job summary

Lotis Blue Consulting LLC is seeking an undergraduate analytics intern to work with client delivery teams in Chicago, building data-driven solutions and insights. You will form hypotheses, conduct analyses, and help transform data into actionable recommendations for client outcomes.

Requirements include progress toward a 2028 graduation in CS/Math/Engineering/Economics or related field, and strong communication skills. This role is on-site in the Chicago Loop for 3+ days per week.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree, expected graduation 2028.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
• Strong verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with client delivery teams to understand challenges and develop tailored solutions.
• Develop hypotheses and perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to test them.
• Manage data requests: acquisition, cleaning, transformation.
• Analyze data to generate actionable insights and present to clients clearly.
• Participate in ideation and problem-solving to drive meaningful results.

Who You Are

• On track to graduate in 2028 with an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related analytical field
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• A critical thinker and problem solver with strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Coursework and/or practical experience applying Machine Learning techniques in business scenarios
• Experience in a client-facing role

What You Will Do

• Work directly with client delivery teams to understand client business challenges, identify root causes, and develop tailored solutions
• Develop hypotheses and conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to test them
• Manage data requests, including acquisition, cleaning, and transformation
• Analyze data to generate actionable insights and present these to clients in clear, impactful deliverables
• Contribute to problem-solving and ideation sessions, providing valuable insights to drive meaningful results

3+ days per week on site in our dynamic Chicago Loop office. We are unable to offer relocation assistance or a housing stipend for this role.

Compensation & Hours

$40 per hour for a 40-hour work week.
