Job summary

Schwab Data Risk Enhancement team seeks a data risk professional to help analyze data flows, document lineage, and surface risk insights to inform prioritization and remediation efforts. You will partner with data, analytics, and engineering teams to strengthen Schwab's data risk posture.

This full-time on-site role offers exposure to governance, risk metrics, and reporting, with opportunities to grow technical and analytical skills in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Foundational experience supporting data risk, data quality, data governance, or data management activities.
• Working knowledge of data lineage and data flows across systems and processes.
• Strong analytical skills to identify risk indicators and support remediation prioritization.
• Ability to collaborate across business and technology teams to document issues and deliver data risk initiatives.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills to explain data concepts to technical and non-technical partners.
• Experience supporting data risk metrics, reporting, or dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data flows and document lineage to identify risk hotspots.
• Surface risk insights to inform prioritization and remediation efforts.
• Collaborate with business and technology partners to understand data usage across processes.
• Contribute to assessments of data risk exposure and translate findings into clear reporting.
• Develop hands-on experience in data risk, governance, and lineage within Schwab Data.
